(in the Pierce School Mall in the Village of East Davenport)
For many of us, being outside our body is a familiar place to be. As children, leaving our body kept us numb and held the pain at bay - whether it was physical or emotional pain. For some of us, being out of our body becomes a habit, and we remain numb to our body as we mature, not realizing that as an adult we have many more life experiences and tools for coping. Learning to stay present in our body is an essential part of the healing process. Our body is the safest place for us to be. When we're present and in our body, we can protect ourselves and provide the care, love and nurturing that our inner child is yearning for. We can also choose our actions from a place of centeredness and work with the wisdom of our body.
In this two-hour experiential workshop, you will:
• tune in to your body and listen
• practice techniques to help you be grounded in your body
• track for cords and obstructions which prevent grounding and do energy healing for the root chakra
• identify agreements around being out of your body and set your intention to be in your body
No previous experience necessary.
Come and learn to be grounded in your body in sacred space!
