Dr. Amir Farid Isahak's article Charging The Seven Chakras is a featured health story at Malaysian Star online magazine. The exercise is performed while sitting comfortably in a half-lotus yoga sitting position. Concentrate, visualize, and relax your breathing as you imagine energies flooding into each of the seven major chakras -- spinning (spiraling) faster and faster. You begin with the root chakra and move upwards to the crown chakra as each chakra becomes energized. I've done similar chakra meditations like this.... give it a try! Good information about the chakras too!
Dr. Isahak says:
Today I will take you through the “Charging The 7 Chakras Exercise”, to help you increase your qi, develop your chakras, and if you practise enough (preferably with meditation, and best if guided by a teacher or guru), you may even improve your character to become more balanced, calm, patient, positive, intuitive, altruistic and wise.
